Economy Auto Repair & Tires

They used very low-quality brake parts on my car. The brake pads wore out after only a few months and ended up damaging my rotors, costing me hundreds of dollars in additional repairs. I expected quality parts, but that was not my experience. On top of that, the customer service was very rude and unprofessional. When I raised my concerns, the staff became argumentative instead of trying to help or resolve the issue. I left feeling like my money was wasted and that they cared more about getting paid than taking care of their customers. I would not recommend this shop.

From the moment I pulled in to their parking lot to the moment I left I knew I was in good hands. Their customer service is exceptional and their service was prompt and thorough. Their prices are fair. I will definitely be back with our family cars. —Sharon Pitts

Wonderful people, I talked with Mike on the phone about getting an appointment same day and they were able to fit me in! It turns out I had a pin hole leak in my lower radiator so I was able to get it fixed. Great customer service. 1st people I will call!

The first thing I need to say is this business is the most straight forward and honest auto repair shop I have used in the Hampton Roads area. I have lived here since 2012 and other shops just will not give you an honest “out the door” quote- they wait until you’re checking out to say ‘oh well that quote didn’t include xyz’. Economy is consistently the most honest, reliable and efficient and accurate shop for us. Case/Point: Vehicle taken to Economy for brakes in March. They advised we get new tires. I already had called around for tire rates and decided on where we would buy them. When I showed up ready to drop off/purchase tires they were “no longer running the deal” despite that they still had the promotion posted up- I was literally pointing at their billboard and signs in the window which they claimed was the previous months promotion and they haven’t changed it because they haven’t gotten the updated promotions 🙄. Since I was already standing there I asked a quote and no joke the price went up more than double per tire. Left that place and will never do business there again, then proceeded to call around again and found another location that had what we needed (we have 2 v

Economy Auto has been taking care of my car for a few years now. My partner always raved about their services so I gave them a try. This is a great auto repair shop. The prices is fair. They explain everything. They don't 'talk down' to women. They're knowledgeable & they pass that knowledge onto their customers. I highly recommend Economy Auto Repair & Tires for any type of auto service needs. See y'all soon. I know, brakes are next.
